Dr Samad Sepasgozar is an academic editor (editorial board member) at Scientific Reports Nature (a world-leading journal, H index: 200) and Associate Editor of Architectural Engineering ASCE (D1: Decile 1). He was recognized as the top 2% researcher in the world by Standard University. He is also an editor, editorial board member, or reviewer for 55 leading high-ranked journals and a lead assessor for national research projects on innovation and smart technologies.
He published over 180 peer-reviewed papers on trending topics, mainly focusing on smart cities, intelligent building, and automation in construction in the last five years. He created various innovative 360/3D walkthrough apps that bring the construction site and heavy equipment into thousands of homes, offices, and classes. World leaders rapidly recognized his research output, as evidenced by Technology of the Year Finalist, National Australian construction Award (2020), ‘best paper’, and other awards annually.
His research focuses on designing, developing, and implementing innovative digital solutions to address these challenges. Due to the demand for potential solutions, his publications have received a growth rate of 200% in citations, and consequently, his h-index reached 30 recently, which is high at the stage of his career. His FWCI is 3.2, showing the rate of citations is three times more than the world average in his target journals. His research performance was recognized as one of the top researchers/reviewers (based on Scopus or WoS) by various global rankings and metrics.
